Happy feelings

Got this a few days ago:
"On behalf of the Student Union Programming Board’s Unsung Heroes Committee, I am writing to inform you that you were recently nominated to receive a 2005 Unsung Hero Award. This award program recognizes undergraduate “Unsung Heroes” on the MU campus who lead by example and strong character. You were nominated for your academic achievement, community involvement and demonstrated leadership. Unsung Heroes is part of MU’s Excellence Week, which includes Tap Day and the MU Ring Ceremony. Excellence Week celebrates the achievements of Mizzou’s most outstanding students who have surpassed their peers in academics, service and leadership.



Unfortunately, we are unable to present the award to all of the nominees. We would, however, like to congratulate you on your nomination and encourage you to take pride in your academic performance, acts of kindness and leadership roles. Your actions and service have not gone unnoticed."

Made me happy. That's it, it's just nice to get an e-mail like this out of the blue sometimes.

Didn't really get any reading done last night, but I did get my new pedals put on the road bike and some good pictures taken to the biking stuff I'm going to put up on ebay. Also threw some new sheets and pillow cases on my bed, and boy were they comfortable and smelling good!
