Pissed off

It really pisses me off when people don't do their job.

Cancelled my GRE test the weekend of Grandma's death so I could attend the funeral. They told me to fax them proof that there was a death so I could get a voucher to cover the cost of the makeup test. I fax the obituary the monday or tuesday after and never hear back from them. Called today and hear that they couldn't read the fax I sent them, and supposedly there was a note on my file that said to call me back and tell me to re-fax it.....and they didn't do it.

And so far it looks like I'll be going to see The Fray at Starlight by myself on May 1st.

F you Friday.

Rest in peace grandma.

High School Student Council Passes Nonbinding Resolution

BARSTOW, CA—In a move intended to send an "unmistakably clear message" to Barstow County High School Principal Robert McCluskey, the school's student council approved by a vote of 22-3 during seventh period Monday a nonbinding resolution criticizing the principal's recent decision to install three extra hall monitors.
"Principal McCluskey has squandered our trust, and is in no position to decide the fate of the hundreds of young people in this school," said Council President T.J. Stafford, who called the symbolic measure "historic." "For the good of future senior classes, we must go on the record as being against this."
McCluskey accused the council of criticizing official school policy without offering any viable alternatives.

concussion

Went to Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Stl with Chris and Ross from Staples from 6pm-2am last night. Snowboarding was awesome! I had a few great runs but fell a lot! And then at about 1am I was going too fast (slowing down is a problem so far) and got thrown off and flipped. Feet went over my head and my head hit the ground. The good news: my hat survived. Not so good news: I got a slight concussion and my neck hurts like a bitch today. The crash was beside the lift so I got a bunch of "ooohhh's and aaaah's" from those headed back up the hill.
Then after the incident we went inside for a little while and I had a long island. Then rode the kiddie slope for a little while and one final trip down a big hill and back to the lodge.
Chris pulled over 3 times on the way back to CoMo so I could throw up and as soon as I got out of his jeep at home I did it some more as my abs and ankle muscles were locking up....and its real uncomfortable to throw up when your abs are locking up!

Can't wait to do it again!! (snowboarding...not concussion or throwing up)

Snowboarding

A friend and I are going to Hidden Valley in StL next weekend so I can try snowboarding for the first time.

If I'm super duper at it like I will be then maybe a trip to Colorado before this season is over should happen!
